In the 1980's, oil companies' corporate headquarters were relocating away from Colorado. As a result, in the 1990's our housing market was being favorably viewed among buyers from out of state. The rush was on. Many people moved to Colorado without having made a permanent housing choice. Some of these people in transition having met me as a
helper on their initial move invited me to orchestrate their secondary move into their permanent home. Thus began Artransit. Later, my endeavor into moving fine art and antiques occurred as a result of having made a connection with an Aspen gallery owner. He being a patron of an architectural antique auction house in San Francisco and I being their primary shipping resource, our acquaintance resulted in my services being rendered for his business, "The Rachel Collection" and consequently introductions with other galleries throughout the United States and many artists and museums and trade shows. And there you have it! A dream being realized through good fortune and steady hard work. And maybe a bit of the blood of the old generation...
